vendor Thai- Prick he knew courtesy of Superman

Bootsieb, long time since you posted on TOS (just did a double post and ran). I had to check your profile to get what you are on about. There it says - "good guy", but here it's not mentioned. I know the chilli, "prik ah noo", but just saying "prick he knew" seems to make it a negative...

    unbelievable

It's winter down here, and my plants have been out all winter down to 35F. No problems except for the fact they aren't growing much at these temps. But there's no wind or frost here. Just cold, clear, still mornings.

food I can't be bothered. Or CBF.

No, 1/2L, or a 500ml full can of beer (or more) was drunk by me before dinner, and a few more tonight. Tonight I had 1/2 a butternut pumpkin (squash pumpkin?) left over from last week, I think I used the other half for... I can't remember. Anyway, roasted the pumpkin and some potato. Some...

    Planning to Review Pods/Sauces

I'm not offended, why would I be? You can say what you want and try it on, just like I said "just tasting and testing ;) " I'm just saying throw away remarks like that annoy people. On one hand you didn't just eat peppers and show up on youtube and get where you are with nothing else...

    Planning to Review Pods/Sauces

Best of luck to you Ted. No ill will here, but the above quote sticks in my craw. No. No, you haven't, you have no idea in that regard. Besides that, good luck and while I don't watch your videos, I think you should do what you want to do. Just like I don't judge you, please don't judge people...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

Anyone tried one of these heat mats? http://www.quicksales.com.au/ad/28w-heat-mat-with-thermostat/3581023 Looks alright, 28w instead of 9-14W, built in t/stat. $50 I've done germination in autumn without heat, and a couple in june with my small heater, and keep plenty alive over winter fine...

seeds Seedlings not looking too good after transplant, any suggestions?

Sorry to see TheFanMan. Seems to me you stuffed up the roots. IMHO they were at the stage where they they don't like any mucking about with their roots at all. When they are younger it's normally OK, that's why you can germinate on paper towels and transplant, or split a cell that 2 seedlings...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

Nah, normal. I started this time last year and did badly as I had no decent lights, then sept was cold and very wet, lost most plants and had to start again. So it's going to stay cold and sunny, or get very wet for another month at least. Your plants look very good though, younger than mine...

    Plants dying after epsom spraying....

Don't thank me, at best you're getting 2nd hand info or my experieice learning "not what to do" - ie learning the hard way. Go learn from the better growers that post in the grow log section, like mascalzone I linked to before, or alabama jack or pepper-guru, pic 1, windchicken, 915 river...

    NEW Extreme Memberships

You're looking at it the wrong way, (here I go again LDHS :D ). You want growing info? There's years of threads available on the site, plants and growing of them haven't changed. But if that's all you're worried about, there's lots of growers still posting only in the regular section...

vendor Vendor Vault Forum - Feedback & 4 suggestions for folks

On a lighter note, umm, Australia? We get suckered into everyones wars to fight other peoples fights, and hardly ever let someone get bashed, one in, all in, so I guess you don't meet many aussies. If you understand that, you may understand what I say and do better. Seriously though, fair...

vendor Vendor Vault Forum - Feedback & 4 suggestions for folks

No offense was intended, but I guess since you two happen to plan on doing it, you didn't like my opinion. That's fine, this is just a general suggestion and discussion thread and my opinion means nothing. There's just so much more that can go wrong, you're better of selling powders or sauces...

    You Won't Believe This....

Wow. You said you don't want any "sorrys", but I guess it would have came as a bit of a shock at least? But happy to see you are taking it in your stride and can move on with your head high and go on about planning the rest of your life.

Wow, thanks for the heads up, that's awesome prices! Damn winter, things starting to go wrong here. One overwintered plant full of the biggest aphids I have ever seen! Still dealing with some cases of fungus and BLS Couple of plants I cut back months ago growing back, but really really light...

Just my 2c, to help clear the air. LDHS is mostly right, and he is a good smart business person, he knows what he's talking about. The main problems in the trading sections are people selling pods. There's not many smart business person selling pods here, because there's no money in small...

    Coffee (Aeropress)

Yeah I don't walk away kicking the air triumphantly when I get a 4 week old pack, but that's worse case scenario anyway, and what else am I going to do? Usually they are 1-2 weeks old, it depends on how many other people are buying coffee from there doesn't it. Of course I have no control over...

    Coffee (Aeropress)

I started with a french press, then a mokapot, then a cheap $100 machine, then a $400 machine. Then I got stupid and bought a $1500 machine. I love it, PID temp control, dual boiler so instant strong steam for texturing/heating milk. I just had to do it because I ran out of time reading about...
