    Plants dying after epsom spraying....

Way over watered to begin with. They don't need much water. I know it's tricky with young seedlings as under watered means sudden death. While with older plants you can let them wilt, seedlings will just die when your back is turned when they dry out. But you really have to control their...

Best Varieties For a Short Growing Season?

Out of the hotter ones, my fataliis and choc trinidad scorpions were the first to be ripe. 7 pods were OK too, one Yellow 7 pot plant was first to pod and never stopped all year. I like the yellow 7 pot flavour, but as far as reds, don't like the 7 pot much, prefer nagas. Best naga was a...

Their mailbox for PMs is full. They may not want to delete stuff in there to clear space right now. May take them a while to go through and copy messages and filter what they want to keep and what they are willing to delete to clear up space. All you have to do in these cases is post once to...

    MORUGA AND ?

My dorset nagas from THSC look like that too. The variety has never been isolated while being developed as far as I know, plus all plants have pod variations from time to time

Tell me all the customers that have been given poor service please. Get them all to post here, then the criticism would be justified. Not good enough information before you become a customer means you walk away before buying from them. Not harass them because you didn't think they were good...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

Had a second BB jal pop up yesterday Gasi. I get the feeling the 3rd probably won't, but 2/3 is still awesome. Got some trini/amarillo seeds under as well, but they may take a while, I think one has started at least though (only planted 2). All of them in coir. I mentioned before coir is good...

It seems this seller has lost the confidence of this forum. Ha Ha, even when they offered free seeds it was met by responses of "are they pure", and "can you guarantee you'll get seeds?". Now it's the extreme gang tag teaming. It looks fricken' ridiculous from my seat, no idea what you are...

    List of the Rarest Peppers

That. First quote are the often asked for ones. Bootsieb I agree, so many people get the chillies then it's traits get crossed, becomes harder to find any original ones as they become traded from OP hobbyist's gardens and it's genetics gets diluted somewhat as chillies are so easy to cross...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

Thanks mega, you got addresses? Some of these rural places don't really have a website. Got my overwintered plant that is struggling a lot into a coles bag with extra perlite right now. It doesn't look sick, but I know it is. If that pulls through then my plan is greeny tote bags and extra...

food I can't be bothered. Or CBF.

No one? Not even the OP DtS coming back? Quite disappointed... Today I started tasting out my spice rack, thinking of a chilli recipe (as in pot of chili, chilli con carne). I tasted some fennel, cajun spices, herbs, tarragon, cumin, coriander ground seeds, tumeric, lemon/salt/pepper mix and...

    vendor cheers Baker's Peppers!

Now now brown cow... go to sleep. When you are doing the right thing, people stand up for you, which they have. Don't bother responding to people trying to stir things up when they aren't even involved. Kudos to you for trying to find out if there's any problems, but don't get baited into...

favorite What is your favorite tasting pepper?

http://thehotpepper....ch&fromsearch=1 Ok, that doesn't work. Any reason why I can't link an on site search? Is that how it normally is or is something broken? Anyway, not posting to give th OP grief, but more for the fact that I couldn't link a search. If I could link a search for...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

debco is usually around $12-13. I think most of their mixes are 25L bags (like pot mate, seed raising mix), the organic mix works out cheaper as it's a 30L bag for about the same price. Have to hunt for Debco though. I hate bunnings too, but most garden centres are useless, most other hardware...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

Yeah, I know what you mean, there's nothing off the shelf that is perfect for chillies. The debco organic mix is decent, lots of bark and compost, just needs something more to get more air to the roots and better drainage. It might work with a smartpot/airpot/ or greeny tote bag though with...
