same for me here in ballina... im gonna try building a raised bed for readiness around august ... i transplanted some sick little plants into pots in about january and so far they have perked up but i really love the production of pods ive got off my red habanero plants that were left in the ground.

i like to keep things simple with the sauces so as not to overcrowd the flavours... i experimented with the carrots this time as a way to keep the colour rather than the taste. i think it work well... it is very fruity and has the added citrus hit of the habs.. heats probably a 6 - 7??? really...

after the blending.....

"Habango" sauce 20 red, green & orange habaneros approx 450-500grams mango 250 mls mango nectar sprinkle of turmeric 3 carrots chopped teaspoon of garlic 1 whole lime peeled and chopped 500ml white vinegar (less or more depending on how thick you want your sauce.) combine all ingredients...

the plant is standing about 1.8 metres across and has very little foliage but literally 100's of pods... i just dont know what to do with them... theyre a little too small to stuff and im out of ideas for what else to do with them... maybe a pasta sauce????

can anyone put a name to this?? im stumped.:think: i can tell you that the flesh is very mild like eating a bell pepper(capsicum) however the seed and white area is quite hot!!!

i was told about the hippy seedcompany and i think i will be buying from them... i purchased some scorps for next season from chilli seed bank but ive noticed that the hippy seed company has some awesome varieties of seeds that ive really wanted to try.. thanks :woohoo:

We're coming up to the end of season here on the north coast of N.S.W. and i'm still getting plenty of habs..... just wondering with the temps cooling down, will i need to do anything special to get these chillis to ripen or will they mature anyway???
