I purchased a red & an orange rocoto plants from CCN this year. My intent is to overwinter both plants in my grow tent and see what happens.
I'll also be trying to find seeds for a few other pubescens for next year's start. I'm thinking they will handle the cooler late summer / early fall...
I'm definitely going to miss all the blackberry brambles back in Washington. I swear it's the state weed there!!! Every bike path, hiking trail and park is surrounded by blackberries.
Now I'm going to have to actually pay for them :(
Nope, couldn't say. It looked like very fine spider webs all around the area that I fertilized. They are still in the grow tent since temperatures still drop at night. Was 39 here last night.
After I planted up to the red solo cups I used some fish/seaweed liquid fertilizer and a couple days later noticed some fungus starting to grow on the surface. I added cinnamon to the suface soil which solved the problem.
Now to the question: should I remove that top layer of soil with the...
