    12/1 light cycle

This is the schedule I used last season Derek. I was convinced by someone from another site who did an experiment side by side with the "normal" light schedule and the 24 hour schedule. It seemed to work pretty well for me, but I did not have anything to compare it to. This was with T12 lights...

    Mitch's Pics (flowers and pods)

Nice pics Mitch. If possible, try using a flash. It works well even in the daylight to get rid of the shadows. You nailed it on the Aji, and the Black Pearl flowers are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming. :halo:

    BigCedars SuperHot Grow 2012

Hey Brandon. Glad you survived! We got a foot of snow here and were among the few lucky ones who only lost power yesterday and got it back at midnight. I also burned lots of wood the last 5 days to keep the gas bill down. Our big pain was losing cable and internet for 5 days! Just got internet...

    BigCedars SuperHot Grow 2012

Excellent video Brandon. You should show pics of everything covered with 2-3 inches of snow now. No worries though, it is not getting that cold and the early sprouts out in the yard might survive this week of winter white goodness. Sorry if you covered this already, but, how many of the pepper...

    Chimayo peppers

S.S. The Chimayo chile is no hype, in fact, it is quite revered in Northern New Mexico. I spent a few days "in the field" a couple of years ago in the Santa Fe to Taos area to learn more about these chiles and collect some of the seeds. I would love to give you some Chimayo seeds I got from a...

There are lots on Google search. We just went through the one from http://www.jhoque.com/blog/how-to-photograph-smoke. I use Aperture to "enhance" them. Very fun. The key for us was to use a remote flash from the side. Here is another...

Over the holidays my daughter showed me a tutorial on making smoke pictures. She then took quite a few pictures in her make-shift set up in the garage, and this is the result of our new interest. Here is one of my favorites so far.

    BigCedars SuperHot Grow 2012

Excellent progress Brandon! I have enjoyed the "short break" from last year's grow. Looking at your thread makes me realize that I need to get the seeds out and get back to work...pronto. Who knows, the weather may just be kind to us this year.

    Hi from Spokane, WA!

Welcome from the wet side of the state...Maple Valley! Glad you joined. I would like to add that my greenhouse gave my potted chiles 2 more months to finish ripening. That made the difference between a kinda bad season and a surprisingly decent season.

    BigCedars SuperHot Grow 2012

Excellent start Brandon! I am very impressed how organized and well thought out everything is so far. What a great start. One of the biggest mistakes I made last year was to use any and every size and shape pot I could find for the seedling's first transplant. This resulted in WAY too much time...

    Taste Testers FOUND, Round 2-

Hey Ann. Not sure if the batch I got from you at Scovie's house was the first generation, but I love it! You definitely succeeded in making a food additive that is completely tasteless (and you know I mean that as a compliment :halo: ). I put 6 drops in a very cold Kokanee and it gave it some...
