    The light on the right is a spider farm sp1000, basically the same power i think. I'm running them at about 40% which i think is just right? ps when the seed shell gets stuck on the young sprout, is it ok to get some nail clippers and shear off the edge of the shell? many seem to be stuck...

    my super hots didn't like my cold garage during last winter... it was a insulated garage (separate from the main house) but no central heating. Next year ill bring them in the house or take a clone?

    my dad used to sprout the seeds so i'm not sure how long they can take to germ? ill give them another couple weeks. my 7 pots and scotch brains aren't looking to promising :(

    ive only got a 50% germ rate with about hundred seeds, 10 different varieties. Started middle of February. When do people give up with the seeds that dont show?

    Thank you for the links. When I mentioned 'international shop' i meant halal supermarket selling international produce, spices from India, etc. I think the commercial bonnets have been hybridized with something else?

    They seem to enjoy your garden, i wasn't sure if you had some type of cover for them. Do you have an international shop near you MarcV ? Ive noticed the scotch bonnets aren't the same they were 10 + years ago. Much bigger, longer and no classic bonnet taste. You don't realise what you have...

    pests Fungus gnats!

    i mix neem cake into the soil mix. It smells a bit like pickled onions and is a natural insecticide. They use neem oil as foliar spray.
