DocNrock's First Grow Log -- 2013 Grow Has Begun!

LOL, we've heard that one before!!! I meant to do exactly that this year...but then its a case of "well, i will start 3 off, just in case..." and then once they all get to a decent size you still keep all 3 "just in case something happens"....and then before you know it you've got about 3...

Thanks Moo... Yeah, i'm using that method for the teeny ones, but it's for the 'next size up'....where they are getting too wide for a 2L drink bottle, but too small to successfully stake.

    2012 - Wulf's mediocre race to winter!

It's a great feeling isn't it? I was exactly the same as you by the sound of it... Never grown anything in my life before, and when I had that lightbulb moment where I suddenly wanted to have a go, it was the end of summer....but I went ahead anyway! If you've still got it bad, you could always...

sun Newbie: 9" capsicums wilt in direct sunlight

Hi mate, i had exactly the same issue as you. I work during the day and not able to shift the plants around etc.. I started mine in the back porch and put some shade cloth over the window. After a week there i then moved them outside against a wall where there is only sun from daybreak until...

overwintering what are you overwinteeing/ bringing in?

I'm not sure if I am right in saying this, but my guess is that an over wintered plant may need to be 'hardened off' after being indoors for the winter. When you put the plant back outside, did you introduce it to the outdoors gently over a couple of weeks, or did you just put it outside and...
