    sexy pod porn

Plants are looking good WM. Plenty of hot, humid weather for you too I presume. And yes, scorpions are all business. I planted some seeds. One had a little pulp attached. So of course, I rehydrated it and tasted it. Holy cow, that is no joke. Very fast and intense heat on the tongue. Like...

Where did you get your pots from?

I've found it's hit and miss with nurseries. You get some that dont want to part with any used pots. Then you have others that are more than happy to let you take a truckload full. I went to a nursery and a landscape contractor was unloading a couple hundred used pots, which I assume the nursery...

Pot this up? Yay or Nay?

Definitely not a couple weeks, so no better time than the present. Looks like it is in a 4 inch azalea pot. Throw it into a one gallon pot for awhile.

    Super Thrive?

I asked AJ and he said he uses it for the first 30 days or so. I got the 4 oz bottle at Lowes for about 11 bucks. It's so concentrated, I think I have enough for the next decade.

    I believe I have a problem

Dont broad mites just shrivel up the leaves? With those spots, I say bacterial/fungal, especially after huge rains. (Standing water in the pot, beads of water resting on the leaves, splashed up soil on the leaves.) Separate plant, put in a sunny spot with air circulation, remove top inch of soil...

    HELP

Probably started from standing water on the leaves and moisture in the soil. Key is to stop the spread. I would remove the leaf, place the plant in full sun with good air circulation, get the soil dried out. If in a container, I'd also move the plant away from others and replace the top inch of...

    Super Thrive?

I started using it at 1/4 tsp per gallon when my Bhut seedlings were about 10 days out of the dirt and had full seed leaves. This is my fourth and final week of using it. (Thanks AJ for the advice). So far I have the deepest greens I've ever had on peppers and they all look great. I dont see the...

    HELP

I'll throw in the first vote for a bacterial leaf spot. The it has the "shotgun" look of dark dead tissue surrounded by yellow halos.

Look what followed the wife home

Wow, that will be some project, but I've seen worse plants come back. It's probably in some kind of messy, waterlogged, over fertilized soil. Get it into some nice potting mix and make sure it gets plenty of drainage.

    Douglah Cappy 2010

Geez, that's quite the forest you have going there. Very impressive. Just curious- what direction is that fence in relation to your house?

health What is wrong with my plants =( ?

Too much water. Get them out of that muddy soil. Man, with those closeups, you could see a pimple on an aphid. Good luck.

    Silver Surfer's 2010 Grow

Yes, I saw the other thread. Looks like a much more cost effective than those $60.00 Earthboxes. I think I'm gonna make one, but modify it a bit with a PVC fill tube in the back instead of the connecting hose you have. I need to keep mine "mobile" so I can move them around in case of a Florida...

Very impressive. Thought only the hydro guys used those rubbermaid totes. But they seem better to use than 5 gallon buckets.

pests Anyone use "trap crops" or companion plants for pest control?

I dont know if you increase your odds of getting hornworms by having them with your peppers. I think hornworms will visit regardless. But if I only have 10 pepper plants in a garden and hornworms arrive, he's gonna hit one of the ten. If I have ten peppers and ten nasturtiums, then I cut my odds...

pests Anyone use "trap crops" or companion plants for pest control?

Read a university article about "trap crops" that attract pests away from more valuable plants. For example, gardners will plant nasturtium in a garden because caterpillars love it and are naturally attracted to it before other vegetable plants. Better to learn of caterpillars when seeing a...

    Night Wilting: What the ....

Looks like temperature/sun/wind related wilt. As long as you dont have inward leaf curl, which would be indicative of Verticillium Wilt. The plants would die within a few days. This is mostly a soil problem. But plants photosynthesing during a sunny, hot, dry or windy day will lose more water...
