I have a Fatalii cross. Two years ago, a couple of very kind members sent me some Fatalii seeds. One of them did not grow true. I've successfully cloned it a few times. It produces scorchingly hot, small, orange peppers. If I ever get a stable growing environment, I may attempt to stabilize it.

What kind of chiles do you use in your hot sauce? When are you going to start selling it?

Cloning is also ideal for when you get an aberration, or or an unknown hybrid. For example, my Cardi Yellow Scorpion that I got from Chris is actually orange in color, not yellow.. Is it an accidental hybrid, or is it an aberration? Cloning will keep the plant going, and help in...

That is very cute!

My plant has only produced one ripe pod, and it has a second unripe pod that is just starting to turn color. The ripe turned orange, not yellow. I left it on the plant for 2-3 weeks, hoping it would turn yellow, but it stayed orange. Has anyone else have an orange CARDI?

There are quite a few purple peppers. Many look very similar. Best thing it to ask the kid you got it from, where he got them from. Did he, or someone he knew grow them? Then ask those people what they are called. By the way, where is Bagley? And welcome to THP!!!!!

Besides Chipotle, there's Morita. and there's also Toreado(sp?), which is wickedly hot, and very good.
