thanks for the advice folks! They arn't a huge problem, yet, but have affected a few plants, most are bigg enough not to be hurt but some of the younger ones have been eaten a bit.

Anyone have any tried and true methods for getting rid of these #*$&'s?

thanks guys, i gotta say i will NEVER go back to hand watering. This setup only cost about $30 and its the best investiment i have made so far :dance: I even got flow through fertilizer hooked up to it.

Will you have access to a drill in the near future? i'm sure the plant can wait a day or two? If not do you have drill bits? if so you can use channel locks at the end of it to "drill". Hammer would work, take a exacto knife and score a circle and pound it out? Or maybe a car cigarette...

I've got a very non-scientific experiment going in my backyard right now, i have plants in MG, Shultz, and a local brand. Also 75% of my plants are in my own mix 0.5yard P moss, 0.5yard Vermiculite, 10lb bone meal, 5 lb blood meal, 5 lb limestone. So far the plants in my mix are WAY happier...
