naganumbness get owned by 7pod jonah

Great vid! That one tore me up as well, and I don't eat whole superhots. You have balls of steel my friend. The douglah will be about the same if not a touch hotter, and when you try the yellow 7, you will be fine. They are hot as hell, but not as hot as the douglah or jonah. Did you swipe...

video BeagleStorm vs. The Trinidad Scorpion Cross - A Video Review

I am sure that is a cross, or came from an unstable hybrid or something. I got the seeds from peppermania and it was supposed to be a yellow scorpion. It's not. :) Still a good pepper though. Don't blame you for not wanting to eat the marouga blend. Not sure why it molded so quick though. I...

Beaglestorm (and friends) vs. The Black Naga (3rd review of 3)

Great review. There seems to be some variation in the heat on these. My condolences to your friends wife, but I laughed my ass off on that one. About as funny as last year when I gave a friend of mine at work a Bhut to try. He instantly tried to spit out his tongue. When that didn't work...

    Barrackpore 7

These were from seeds straight from TCB, so not sure what was around it.

    Barrackpore 7

I agree it looks more scorpion, but a lot the pics I have seen of the Barrackpore 7 looks scorpion too. Seems to be a bit of variation in the pods. This is definately one worth saving seeds from and seeing what comes next year. jacob

    Barrackpore 7

I got some Barrackpore 7 seeds from a couple of kind members here as well as from TCB. I have 2 plants going from the seeds that TCB sent to me. Plants vigor appears to be the same, average pod size and shape is basically the same, but the color is not. One of the plants is putting out...

Black Naga and TS Cardi reviews

Beautiful pic, Mega. I have some of those TS Yellow Marouga blends growing. Not sure if they are F2 or F3 though. Can't wait to see how they turn out. jacob

Black Naga and TS Cardi reviews

Assumptions can work in you favor some times other times not. Just be careful with the ButchT when you try it. It is on a whole other level. I have both a generic red scorpion and the butchT, and the butchT is deadly. I had blisters on my lips the next day after trying it and lost my sense...

Black Naga and TS Cardi reviews

Great videos, man. I found the same with the black naga. When I ate a piece at the bottom of the pod there wasn't much of anything. I had to take a piece from the stem end with some placenta and it had some good heat to it there. Not sure if it is from the first pods or what, I guess time...

    Black Naga

Well, I got 3 people to volunteer to try them. Should be in the mail either Saturday or Monday. Southern Yooper, PM me and let's work out the details. Maybe we can save a stamp since you are only a few miles away. Hey Judy, that is a beautiful pepper. You growing that one again this year? jacob

    Black Naga

Well, I just picked it today, and after reading this, I decided to go ahead and give it a try. I am not one to eat a whole superhot, but I will try all that I grow, so I open it up and take a look. Only a few seeds in it, like 12 or so running the entire length of the pod, and a whole lot of...

    Black Naga

I agree Patrick. I said the same thing about a week or so ago. Looks almost identical to my choco bhuts and bigger than my naga morich. Maybe not a new variety after all, just renamed to sell seeds, although I did get them for free. jacob

    Black Naga

Here is a pic of the one farthest along in the ripening process. It should be ready in another day or two.

    Pepper ID Help?

Most of my CARDI peppers have the stinger like the ones in the plant pictures, but there are a couple that look like the ones in the first post. I do love this pepper though. Great taste to them and good heat, but not overwhelming like the superhots. jacob

    Black Naga

I hope they come up for you, but if not, I will have some pods isolated soon so I can send some more to you then. It is starting to look like a chocolate color. Yeah, Chris, it is some mean looking pods and a healthy robust plant once it took off. Mine was a slow starter and is smaller than...

    Black Naga

Well I have 4 pods starting to turn. :woohoo: They are starting off dark, but won't know for a few days what the final color will be. Just a little blush on the top right now. Looks like it may be a chocolate color though. Will post pics tomorrow or Saturday as they color up more. jacob

    SouthernYooper's First Super Hot Attempt.

Haha. That is actually University of Michigan. Wolverines not the sparties. I was born in Ypsilanti which is between Ann Arbor (home of the Wolverines) and Detroit, just minutes from Michigan Stadium. Even though I moved away a long time ago, it is still home in my heart. As bad as losing...
