I live in the same sort of climate as you Exavier, and from my experience when plants need full sun, you need shade anyway, it's just too hot for them in FULL sun. I think, yes 50% will still fruit, however they will need SOME direct unfiltered sun at some stage through out the day. Also you...

I HAD one Bhut x Giant White Hab pod up until this morning, but the rain we've been getting here knocked the pod off the plant. Also lost a few flowers over night too soo it was a pretty bad night for my chillies. Oh well I supose there is still plenty of time to get some pods yet.

I reckon! It's (chilli beer) the strangest sensation you'll ever have! Provided the beer is ICE cold! There is a fair chance of that Jacob, it's wet season here now so the sun comes out between showers and it's quite intense when it does come out.

It's a tiny Bih jolokia (the first pod on the plant), I wish it was bigger but thems the brakes huh. I'm sure it will still knock my socks off even it it's size

Not wrong!! I'm hoping by the time I fly back to work on Wednesday morning (3 days/4 sleeps) it'll be ready to take with me. Although maybe I should try this one at home where I have close access to medical aid. ;) :onfire:

Cheers Jesse. I hope it's that simple. We shall see when these next pods grow on all my other plants that are budding quite majorly.

As promised here is the pic. The pod is a tiny bit bigger than it appears in this pic (it goes diagonally backwards) but you get the idea. Any ideas?

Well I have my first pod on a Bih Jolokia and it's only the size of the tip of my thumb!! Is this normal and should I expect teh same on all my plants for their first pods or am I doing something wrong??? Will post a pic in a little bit.
