I was wondering if a pod with blossom end rot would result in viable seeds. It is from a flower that I isolated but if the seed are tainted in some way because of the blossom end rot I don't want to keep them and I want to isolate a new flower from the plant.

My experience shows that you save about 3 weeks - a month by using cuttings rather than seeds. I don't know if that helps you or not. I don't want to comment on if you have enough time to get a harvest or not because I am not sure and I don't want to give bad advice.

The plants will keep producing pods. You could say that there is only so many pods that a plant can handle at one time but that is different from plant to plant, and as the pods start to ripen and get picked more blossoms and pods will take their place. As for ants. I don't think ants...

Thanks. I ended up giving away about half of the plants I started to family and friends. My sister and my uncle are now starting to turn into chili heads from it. They keep texting me asking questions and seeing how the plants are doing.
