    New Grower, Plants Having Issues

You can also pick up the pot to see how heavy it is. Really light... needs water, really heavy it doesn't. This is not a 100% test just a guideline.

    ONIONS!!!

You could actually be right...the ones I planted in the 2ltrs on 3/18 I noticed the roots are already down the sides and heading out the holes I put in bottoms. I always thought that onion roots were shallow, but still would think that they would travel thru out the kiddy pool. Oh well, Ill see...

    ONIONS!!!

dub_sauces They haven't bulbed at all yet, they look like large scallions or small leeks. They fell over when they were small and stayed that way...I didn't want to move them around to much because of the sensitive root system.   ako1974  Ya I took pictures before I watered them. After the first...

water How to remove chlorine / chloramine from water

I agreed with your comment Solid, especially with the mega treated water down here. I don't have a rain gutter off my roof, it just rolls off in spots with 5gal HD buckets to catch it. I would use it till it got to about an inch from the bottom, then dumped and cleaned the bucket for the next rain.

    ONIONS!!!

Hey guys, all those plants look great. I tried planting some down here in S FL in a kiddie pool. I planted them on October 16th 2016 and its long past the 120 days. I still don't see any bulbing and somehow they were growing sideways. The sun is now moving to the back of the house so the...

Get rid of any ant hills and such if you can.... they transport the aphids to your plant and eat the honeydew from them.

Too Hot/Humid yet Too Cold Issues

My hubbie just brought up another option but as before I'm not sure on the cost but there is a paint you can place on the basement walls that will suppress the amount of moisture that will seep in. Otherwise as long as you have good air circulation you should be able to keep the moisture at bey.

What is going on with this pepper plant? Please help.

Could be damage or diseased roots. I had a whole plant just wilt to death. Some kind of wilt rot...cannot for the life of me remember the name of it

Too Hot/Humid yet Too Cold Issues

I'm not sure about the cost or the ability, but would using Damp Rid or something like that help work on keeping some of the moisture down? It might not be cost efficient, but just thinking of other options for you.
