heat What pepper is the hottest....to YOU??

Primos....they hurt so so bad, no matter when I eat them, they just make me cry. I honestly think they are in many cases hotter than the reaper, or otter peppers up there on the SHU scale.

    garden vs. containers

I have found that containers if big enough have no real differences from plants in the ground. I have plants in containers that are huge, and in many cases bigger than my plants in the ground. But I think the real difference is the ways to take care of plants in containers vs. the ground, I do...

    Poop... Yeah this is happening!

The only pathogens that would be the hardest to kill would be spores, and some cysts. Cryptosporidium being one of the more scary pathogens in dog feces, they produce oocysts that can live outside a host for quite a while and take quite a bit of work to get rid of. Cysts take high temps for long...

I had extensive talks with them but they always came back to children eating the pods... So I just left it at that, They even just fenced in all the plots with deer fencing to make it harder for deer to get crops, hell kids couldn't get through there. But I'll grow at home this year and next...

Can I use Human Vitamins for the Plants?

It would depend on the vitamin, the brand of vitamin, and many other areas of concern, but in short, yes. Some vitamins are water soluble, while others that are put into vitamins for human consumption are made the be fat soluble for hepatic reasons, So it depends on the vitamin. I would stay...

    Next years grow idea

So I've made up a rough idea of what it will look like from a sky view. Not really to scale but I'm thinking of spacing them 3 ft apart from each other. I'll be using the 7 gallon fabric pots on ground so the roots can grow into the ground if need be! But what do you guys think the best spacing...

Should I pick off wrinkly leaves

Do you see any bugs under the leaves, I had broad mites do similar things to my peppers. Find a magnifier glass and see if you can find any. But hopefully it's just rapid growth which can mimic the same thing. Growing plants is awesome but somethings it can be quite stressful!

    organic Organic Thoughts?

Organic is a great way to go! I finally went fully organic in terms of fertilizers last year and it took some getting used to, but it was great! The only thing I would say that is very different is how you use the fertilizers. Always put them in the year before you're going to use the soil so...

soil Happy Frog Potting Soil = Fungus Gnats?

I think anybsoils can be prone to fungus gnats sometimes even more so with beneficial microbes if they includ fungi spores for growing. I used a similar soil with added microbes and experienced gnats like no other. I tried everything to get rid of them and finally had to use the dunks to get rid...
