That's correct, I wanted to post a picture when they've put some colour and another picture when fully ripe. Most probably due to lighting, pods turned out orange, but they weren't that orange at all.

Scott, I must say, pulling the plug on September makes me really uncomfortable, I got quite a few plants that have no chance on puttin pods till the 1st. Your post made me think to end of the season, I can't say it has been an outstanding one. I know I know, it will probably go till the end of...

I think it's only fair to point out the subjectivity of everyone's taste. One man's pleasure can be the next man's sorrow. While I do think yellow something generally tastes great, our recommendations would be pretty subjective as well.

Out of curiosity. How expensive could a fence be ? I mean you do not need electrified barbed wire or guard tower posts. Just some poles and some wire, one or two feet apart and cover that with some sort of straw fabric. Poles could  be 3 feet tall, doesn't really matter. How could it be that...
