+1 The only thing with using different peppers is that the extract will taste like the pepper you use.

I smoke all my peppers with hickory, dehydrate them with a dehydrator and use a Mortar and Pestle to grind them into fine powder. works great!

I have tried neem oil, D-earth, duct tape, etc. with no luck. They seem to just all come back or dodge the places you missed. The only thing that works for me is insecticidal soap. Very effective!

They look like my Trinidad scorpions, however mine are not as pimply as yours.

Mine did that as well until they hardened off. Now, they love the sun all day long. I would leave them alone and let them get tough.

I just got burned on eBay. Ordered 7 Pods and they turned out to be Caribbean Red. They're not even that hot either. I will never buy on eBay again. The bad thing about eBay is that you only have 90 days to leave feedback which is not enough time before harvest. Not a good venue for buying...
