Its all starting to fire up here with lots of new growth on all my plants, Sun has a bit more bite in it!! I must get some pix up for you. synclinorium have you tried the Yellow type very sweet though not as large fruit super easy to grow. The Dragon Fruits Rule :woohoo: !!!!!!!

Hi synclinorium, Definitely remove the lower segments if you want faster initial growth, you really want to grow them "single file" straight up the post, four each side of the post is the norm... then once at the top let them branch out and fall back to the ground this is the time they know...

This is interesting, because from the 50 odd Douglah plants I grew out some time ago from my original mommy plant courtesy bentalphanerd, I too got red through-backs and I also recall ButchT was growing Red Douglahs way before any of us had them growing. Must be something in the make up of them...

Brother Your living in pepper paradise at your location... Id lose everything. Wait till this August to germinate your seeds, get a month growing under fluros inside no heat mats required. Mid September get em out side and they will kick ass for you all the way till now (May) proberly June...

My reco is lay off any nutrient application from now on and just give water as required for the next 3 months.
