Hi Guys :onfire: Im still hanging around :cool: Glad your getting right into the Douglahs. Fantastic variety to grow and the pods ripen up awesome. The seed your growing Cappy is produced from a cutting I took from bents original plant which we both believe to be the very first Douglah plant...

The parents of the seed which has been added to bents charity pack, curiously enough, pods I grew from a cutting which was obtained directly from bent! Almost unquestionably the very first Douglah plant to make Australian shores! :)

Not the slowest growing, but my "Orange 7 Pot" seeds took 80 days to germinate, I actually gave up on them & the mix was still in the raiser, I planted a stack of yellow pitaya seeds & low & behold day 80 something the orange 7s sprouted :onfire:

It sounds like youve got Scarid fly / fungus gnats, try controlling the scarid flys with yellow sticky traps & you can catch the fungus gnats which will be in the soil by thinly slicing some potatoe & laying it ontop of the soil, you need to lift the potatoe every four hours or so & remove the...

I voted for 2 in the list. The flavour of the Caribbean red I find outstanding, great on pizza. And the Choc Hab, looks stunning as the big brown pods ripen against the green stem & foliage, and those brown pods make a smokin' hot delicious paste too!

As far as the genetic linage of the plant Im growing goes, Only bent knows the source! I took cuttings from several of bents plants a few months back and the one posted is one of them, formally known between us as clone "7/3" :P Ive got a focus on the 7s this time around and have quite a few...

One of my "Jonah 7Pots" just starting to form buds. Im really looking forward to tasting pods from these plants, the dehydrated piece of pod I received from hippy had outstanding flavour & heat. :shocked:
