    Devv's 2015 - 16, Life is good!

Sorry to hear about your ill health and that awful local tragedy. Puts things in perspective, I guess. I'm sure, despite your's and the garden's travails, your season will turn around by harvest time. All the best from Ireland!

Love the before and after pics Rick. Things are motoring along nicely for you. Will watch your progress with the sesame with interest. Have you made Benne Wafers? Great with a cup of coffee.

Bruschetta looks great. Sorry to hear about your plants' struggles. I'm sure your warm Italian summer will help them recover. Those cherries look fantastic.

    ronniedeb's 2015 season

Hey John. Yeah, we've had a "status orange" wind alert here for today. Very strong gales, coupled with good sunshine, which is a strange one. Weekend was grey, wet and cold. Not June weather at all!! No SG seeds yet. Tomorrow hopefully.

    ronniedeb's 2015 season

Quick little update: I've harvested a few little CARDI Yellows from an overwintered plant and a few Aji Cristal from one of this seasons plants.  I don't buy any fresh pods in the offseason, preferring to use up the dried, frozen, pickled and otherwise preserved pods instead. It's great to be...

    ronniedeb's 2015 season

Cheers Rick. Yeah, I'll have to try the Kapia again next season. That's the risk with only having one plant of each variety, I guess. Nice Bleeding Heart, a beautiful plant.    Hey Paul. Thanks. Yeah, they are Lithops ("Living Stones") seedlings in the pot. Super slow growing, but interesting...

    Stickman's 2015 - That's All She Wrote...

Hey Rick. I've been relatively absent from the forum for the last month or so, so had several pages of your glog to pore over. It was actually really nice to see your season and soil progress from being snowed under to looking ready to explode into growth with the coming of Spring. I love the...
