Hey all, won't be maintaining this any longer now that it's in this forum. I like the idea of a single community vetted list but with the new forum and individual threads for vendors not really possible/effective anymore. Thanks!
A few I've opened have been practically dripping :hell: I have found them to be incredibly hot as well. Not sure on the taste yet, will have to try a few more to decide if i like it. I just picked another 30 or so of them yesterday so plenty to choose from!
Those pods are fine to take seeds from (just pick the nice ones like AJ or anyone else would do) but they are not Butch T's.
I realize this a sales thread and not really the place to make comments but come on man...you have 100 posts begging for seeds/pods and the minute you get some you turn...
That's weird that it hit you that way. I never have any stomach pain from bhuts but the 7 pots always rip me up. Seems like that one was a bit of a dud heatwise too. Hopefully the others are a little better.
Great video, can't believe you ate that whole pod, it was huge! I love the taste of the reds. I think the chocolate is a little hotter and am still undecided on the caramel. I thought it was hotter than the red but not sure about being hotter than the chocolate. That red douglah cross came from...
Yes, those bhuts are from my own saved seeds which originated from the pepper joe giant bhut. They didn't perform this year like they did last in terms of size but still have plenty at 4 - 4.5+ inches. Weather was a real killer this year and didn't help them that's for sure.
Patrick enjoy the...
To those of you I'm sending stuff too...it's all leaving today. Priority mail so fingers crossed it arrives Sat or sooner. Hopefully the cool temps work out well for the fresh pods being shipped. Enjoy!
In IL we're still typically in the 50's at night, this is just one of those rare events that will push it into frost temps for 1 or 2 nights then it will be back to normal for the next 3 - 5 weeks. Last year i was picking peppers until the end of October.
Same here...I'm just going to let it ride and see what happens. Even if 100% of whats left outside died I still have 2 years worth of peppers from the past few months!
Fingers crossed...
