please pay attention to numbers here
if you want to get diversity the more seeds the better chance
please consider 200 is a "small" number of seeds or plants looking for
diverse traits ( i.e. MUTATIONS) if you grow only
a few seeds you only get a very slim chance at a desired trait
even if...
so if you are growing indoors,
answer is more light grow more
less light grow less
there might actually be a futility level but i think they will incinerate before it is reached
good growing
again i am late for planting already
my last chance for frost locally is jan 31
like seven weeks from now
i have three varieties sprouted already indoors and
plan on 1.5" cells for their first
and beer cups for second containers
then outside to the #5 about feb 3 or so
when is last chance for...
so the q was "how long under lights?"
i need to learn things the hard way
if i were you i might try some NOW and some more later and see if
there are any different production results from different strategy
maybe plant some now and then some more later
see what happens and let us know what...
the holes also will let you see when the roots reach the bottom
of those cups
some people even water through the holes in the bottom of theirs
but, do as you will
they are yours and i too have to learn the hard way
good looking yummies there dot dude
patience for the orange ones they look nearly there
the guy from michoacan in mexico told me those plants grow up into the avocados
like vines almost and often live for more than ten years
please be sure to make "extras" like if you want to grow 20 make 30 or fourty
as some will (maybe) not make it you can always try to find places for every "extra"
the pubes will survive for a good long time on just their own juices so be patient
if you only want one try making three or five...
not to hijack here but;
got any idea of contact information for one of these:
"from a trusted vendor that will guarantee the seeds have been isolated and will not be a cross."
i sure am interested in a vendor like that?
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
i think what you got looks tasty please save the explaining
for when you describe how they taste.
please eat some and explain how you enjoy them
you may come to decide to label or tag them things
when they are small so it doesn't damage
their spirit doing it when they are older
heck, you may even keep such a thing with them forever and always
sorry missed this
yes some types will not grow for me
might be i need more patience or stick to it iveness?
today december 4 start germinating for spring 2012 now :woohoo:

yo bootie dude the chili looks a little sun scalded (SUNBURN) on the top
and the lower leaf looks like nute burn (NITROGEN BURN)
your planting mix looks a little hot and even though it is winter
you may need to shade that spot a little bit(reduce footcandle intensity)
i saw the OP posted as...
i think you need to provide water and warmth
it may also help if you also give them some TIME to do what they do
i have had some luck with putting them on the moist coffee filter in a
small plastic thingie with a snap on lid and putting them on a warm spot on the dish network DVR box
check...
