yea I had tomato plants in my aquaponics system and fruitfly just smashed all the tomatoes and a few of the chilli plants I had growing, I am hoping that they don't come back this year I let our chickens free range a heap so I'm crossing fingers especially seeing i'm just getting green pods

serious gas are you already getting fruitfly? I really hope I don't get them this year

lol :lol: I got some 7pot brown seeds from Judy and the germination rate was pretty low I got 2 seedlings hopefully not weeds :P out of the packet and you know Judy there is usually heaps of seeds. That and the douglahs are the only two types so far that I've had minimal success with germinating...

Some nice Yabbies there Booma, I like to boil them up and the get there tails into a hot fry pan with garlic and shallots with a little oil and some butter and when you've given them a little loving season with some salt, those have nice big fat claws aswell which up here we only get redclaw

yea quite possibly seedlings always take a lot longer in that growbed once they get a bit bigger though they just go silly
