    Hello From N.E. Michigan

Hey Larry, somehow I missed this posting first time around. Glad to see you found the site. Also, as you know, from NE Michigan - about 1 mile from you. Hope your plants are doing good. This is a great site, full of lots of information and great people.

    Holes in leaves

I had a similar problem earlier this year. I lightly dug around in the soil (it is potted plant) and found a nasty looking cutworm. It was coming out at night (like geeme said), munching and then going back into the dirt by day.

    What the hell is this?

First of all, very funny story. Second, cool if it does happen to be a lemon sprout. I had a similar experience about 25 years ago. I was eating an orange and was too lazy to get up and throw away the seeds so I just put them in a pot next to me with an ivy I had growing. A few weeks later it...

    Condor's Beak Habanero?

I received seeds for condor's beak habanero earlier this year from a forum member. After these pods started developing and after looking up pictures of other condor's beak habaneros I'm starting to wonder if that is what they are or if they are something different or perhaps a cool cross. I...

Is there any cure for damping off?

+1 with geeme.   I had a datil plant go through this earlier this year. I did pretty much what geeme suggested and kept it dry after that. It took a while to start to grow again but it eventually did and is now a healthy plant. Smaller than the rest at this point but healthy.

Something is Pruning and Topping My Plant! I FOUND THE CULPRIT. New Pic Update in OP

jojo,   Just a thought on this one. I had that same type of damage last year on my bush beans. I'd go out in the morning and the'yd be eaten down like that. Finally went out at night and found them covered with earwigs, just like your earlier picture. Suprised the hell out of me as I didn't know...

    Carolina Reapers

First of all I should say others more experienced might be able to answer your question better but I did have some luck with my first attempt with them this year. I wouldn't give up on your from three weeks ago just yet. I had some other varieties come up after 3 weeks or so. How did you...
