Well done buddy! We tried on two occasions to plant them in the dirt here, and then we get a freak 2 days of the teens. So, they die. We lost over 20 plants that way. I guess tropical weather versus semi desert?

These are mostly mature plants, and over the winter the leaves we trim start to look a bit rough so we trim. I haven't seen any difference in the yields so far..

You mentioned Pineapples..       We have 4 'apples on the vine this year. My wife loves to grow them. And they're on the driveway because they get so heavy; now they're close to the shop when it may get cold...

Pics, we need pics.   I hate them dang G-Nats. Lb's Orchids were like a gnat nursery until she started using mosquito dunks in the water she uses. They we so bad I put sticky traps on my PC monitor....I don't think I'll ever get all that damned glue off of it..

Looking good Scott!   You're going to have more peppers than the law allows ;) Those maters, I have to stake them with 4' 3/8" rebar. They grow out of the cage, and then a little storm comes and they want to fall over. They get so heavy the cages bend.   Carry on sir!

Welcome to the THP Dieter!   Good luck with your grow this season, it is certainly a change from the EU. I'm not familiar with your new climate, but as far south as you are now things will be different for sure.   I'm in deep south Texas, one could go deeper, but it sure is hot and dry enough...

Have you ever tried rock salt? That way you don't have to waste beer, even if it's bad beer ;)
