Well done SB! You're killing it with those Rocoto's   Curious about the grubs, the ones we have here are about the size of a large Orange slice in length, but fatter. They munch dead materials, good guys..   The grubs are still gross..LOL  Just how do they slime like that?

Congrats on the peppers! They're doing really well!   Now that Avocado tree caught my, and LB's eye. They don't freeze? We have a few young ones in pots grown from seeds. I wonder if they will ever produce??

I tried some Early Girl Bush maters this year and they did well. I don't think a single plant grew above the cages, and production is worth a second run on these.. I'm interested to see how the Dwarf plants grow out. Is Dwarf still a word we can use, or have the political correct peeps deemed...

The Kumatos are getting about the same size, and are quite productive. LB is the fresh mater eater, and she loves them. We have too many to eat, so a sauce is in the near future ;)   Thanks again for the seeds!       Yes sir we have been busy. We canned another 6+ quarts of maters today.   PM me...

Thanks Siv!   I learned from you about East facing plants. Those I have along the East fence are doing the best. 30% sunshade was never enough..

They also trashed his new Lemon trees, seems the bucks chose them for rubs.. I told his wife to get some cattle panels and build around what they don't want eaten..

I had my soil tested 2 years ago. 8.2, well water 82.-8.4   I've added at least 150, if not 200 yards of organic matter to the 1,600sf  without exaggeration. They say it helps, but not here...LOL   After the soil test I started adding Elemental Sulfur to get the Ph in check. I intend to add more...

Another option is a personal domain. I own devtex.net, Networksolutions hosts it. It's about $150 a year, and there are a lot cheaper options out there. For now some old customers still cover the costs via their email accounts.

So sorry to read the problems continue. I'll be watching to see how the CSN17 does for you.  Sometimes the plants recover and carry on, sometimes they throw in the towel.   Snatch that towel ;)

Interesting growth habit on the Fragilis. Initial thought was along the P. Dreadie-MoA, yellow bonnet habit, until I saw the close up.   Great looking plats buddy!

Thanks LP!   LB and I have been so busy processing produce that I really haven't tasted much. Potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, Onions, Corn, and Garlic all come due this time of the year.   I'm keeping my fingers crossed on the Rocoto. I looked at it today and I see some promise! No dropped...
