Thanks Uros!   That's the first one we've seen since it warmed up that is alive. The dogs got to two small garter snakes already. Funny with a rattle snake they don't engage, they just bark like crazy. Then I let them inside and the snake leaves. I try not to harm them. I call them rat patrol!

Any snake scares LB, I guess better safe than sorry!   I've never seen a snake like the one in your pic. Do you know what kind it is?

We have the Leaf Footed Leaf Hopper too. They suck, literally. They go after color, orange and red. They come into my garden late, hitting the last of the tomato season.   Any peppers I run after late June to July constantly get damaged by their sting marks. I literally go out every day...

LB strolled by and had to comment on the bread, which looks great!   She's been making bread here lately, not so much because of the lock-downs, but because she now has the time. She was wondering how you get the crust so dark? What temp do you bake at?   And the fog/mountain pics are fantastic...

I just read up on this, thanks!   The plant in the pic has the most damage in the garden. I'm hoping the planned crop rotation helps with this issue in the future.

      We walk for about 40-45 minutes every day after we tend to the garden, before it gets too  hot. LB freaked when she saw this, thinking it was a rattle snake. Losing 3 letters, it's just a rat snake. But a large one!

  Thanks Paul!   The first thing every morning LB and I go out and take care of whatever the garden needs. About 1-2 hours a day.   I have the pods in the dehydrator...gotta go and help cook dinner...I've been summoned!
