    ^^^ Yep.. What Joe said. ^^^ I've used a banana in a bag with other things to ripen them but never tried an Onion. I guess they probably give off a similar gas as the bananas that accelerates the ripening.

    Local nursery had some "Bell" Jolokia last year. It happens... Sometimes its a legit mistake but Ebay, I think they do the switch for sure... And anywhere that by the time you find out what you have its too late to do anything about it.

    Yep Ive had Rats, mice, and I'm guessing a squirrel eat mine. Caught too many Rats in traps to count over the last few years. They eat the stalks and leaves too.

    If you want to know when your plants need water all you have to do is simply look at them every evening a little while after the direct sunlight has gone off of them. Are the leaves still wilting? If so, then water. Only then. Done. Easy. You'll be amazed how little water they need.

    Well, one thing to consider. If it is over water, usually the leaves at he bottom turn yellow or become the most yellow before the top.
