This year's crop (2nd year of growing my own) includes Jalapenos (8 plants), habaneros (8 plants), Tabasco (1 plant), cayenne (1 plant) & some new "Brazilian (hot-hot)" plant (I'm not certain what it is exactly, but I'll know soon enough). In about 2-3 weeks, I'm getting a ghost pepper plant & a Trinidad Scorpion plant from my local produce/nursery. I can't wait to give them a try. Additionally, I'll get one of their Chile Pequin plants that I get annually. Last year's crop lasted through the winter. I grew Caribbean Reds last year but decided that although the heat level is fantastic, I didn't care much for the overall flavor of the pepper, so I changed it up this time around. My local produce/nursery says that this Brazilian (hot-hot) pepper is supposed to have a fantastic flavor & be very hot...we'll see. Photos will come as soon as there's anything significant to show.
