Ok do some of you think the Thai chili/ viet chilis are decendents of cayennee peppers? I had some full sized thai chilis sent to me and they really did resemble cayennes, but just a differnt flavor.

im wonderin if on average the carribean red is hotter then the red savina???? cause some tests showed the savina at 250 k instead of over 500k im guessing you need a new mexico dry climate to get the highest temps. but then again im wondering what the Georgia subtropical climate has done for...

taste wise and size wise i might say go with big jims, nu mex chili. Germination rate from seeds from NMSU r awesome. out of 60 dropped over 20 new mexico chilis. This is a lot of plants... planning an out door grow next spring.

I have the same thing going on. Its no big issues, Soil, climate conditions. Can cause it. but I live in Georgia its still in the 80s during the day time. I am getting them turning purple at moment. purpleness is spreading.
