cajun belles i got from seed rack only took 60 days and they grow really fast. not much heat at all though if thats what you want.

haha yes i got the black varietys from my mate who pinched the pods from a local nursery.. ill keep updates of these plants and add new ones soon,ive got heaps more to take photos of!

if you want rocoto seeds you gotta checkout the selection on semillas.de ..he has got heaps and ive bought a few off the website and they only take about a week to get here from the canary islands, the best seed bank in my opinion. :cool:

nothing to seriouse just a little hobby in the backyard,im growing rocotos for the first time so i dont really know how it will do but apparrently rocoto does really well in the cold and can fuit all year round here in australia. :cool:

well ill have to say yes and no, i grow toms and chillis in organic soil and also hydroponically with non organic ferts in coco. and i can not really tell much differnce in the taste with chilli,but the size of the hydroponic grown stuff is huge! especially the tomatos,the hydroponic plant...

this year i am gonna try the origional trinidad scorpion from pepperlover.com,orderd my seeds almost a couple weeks ago so they shouldnt be to much longer. providing USPS dont screw up the delivery!

Yes i am growing rocotos outside through the australian winter too, i have de san isidro,brown rocoto :cool: ,equdor red pepper from hell,hyper pube,turbo pube,giant rocoto,and mini rocoto yellow, will have plenty of seeds by the time spring come again, dont worry nova i have not forgotten ya...

yea man! when i got the seeds i seperated them from the dried peice of pith,it was about half the size of my pinkie fingernainl. i put on my toungue and chewed a little and bang! it was like instant burning pain all over my mouth and all the way down my throat then it caused havoc on my gut...

hey guys i just stumbled across a website that sells "PURPLE BHUT JOLOKIA" Seeds... i have never heard of or seen these before and dont know wether to take it as true.the pods dont really look like jolokia either...
