    chocolate BB7?

Don't get me wrong, you can't really get a bad result from the BBG7. It's the best thing going as far as crossing partners go right now. Still, I can't go past the reds for this one. Yellow on red...just works.

    chocolate BB7?

This is one of the rare occasions that I strongly prefer the red pods to the dark. For me, the appeal of the BBG7 is that contrasting colour scheme. The red just looks superb. Still....I'll definitely grow it out, regardless.

    Lucy & Katie - a question

Lucy hurt me real bad. Only had a couple of reds which were nastier.

chinense Tomorrow I'm gonna eat those carolina reapers I bought

If this is your first try of a superhot, you're gonna be sorry, mate. Just don't panic when it feels like you're about to die. It's possible you'll make itt

chinense Are these real carolina reapers?

Yeah, that's the price and we all know its a joke. "My buyer" however is some suit in a national office sitting on a squillion dollars. Like I said, the supermarket is pretty large and has a national network for this stuff. No grower who knows a thing about produce would think selling the pods...

    Jigsaw and throat burn

I have good germ rates with everything usually. I use a reptile heatpad and a little humidicrib. Only a couple of standout fails, the Jiigsaw being one of them. I agree, probably just average seed stock....I remember where I got them.

    Jigsaw and throat burn

Had very little luck with the Jigsaw the past couple of years. Frustrating as I have probably put down 60-80 seeds from a few different growers and nothing has really taken off for me.  Only one I got to try, tasted pretty awful, although it burned horribly all the way down.

chinense Are these real carolina reapers?

It was a pretty big deal down here. A lot of the local growers were not only shocked that they'd sell them...but $350 a kilo? Plenty are thrown out as they don't sell in my town. Good reason as well, superhots are a niche product, grown be few, regularly eaten by probably even fewer. They tell...

chinense Are these real carolina reapers?

I've been here for years. Only registered the other day because I was interested in contacting somebody in particular. I stay off the forums for the reasons coming up in this thread. People seem to align time registered with credibility. My real name is on my profile, feel free to do a...

chinense Are these real carolina reapers?

Ugh, it is not a second or whatever. It's simply an example of an average grower producing its best it can in winter. Coles is the largest supermarket in the country and it would be the biggest contract that the company has to fill at this time of the year. There is no completition for these...

chinense Are these real carolina reapers?

I'm not playing any word game. These are the pods the company is producing and selling as per contract. It's winter here and this is what gets produced. The supermarket is a multinational and frankly, they don't care what they are selling, as long as someone is buying. They also sell Bhuts...

chinense Are these real carolina reapers?

LOL of course. As much as any superhot is. These aren't seconds either. That's silly.

chinense Are these real carolina reapers?

They're from AusChilli in Bundaberg. Most are Nagas, Morugas and some 7's.
