It took about ten minutes for the 2 glasses of milk to kill the burn.:mouthonfire:
I can't wait until they turn red, the green (unripe?) was up there.......:)
I have eaten several green (unripe?) devils tongue pods. The classic bitter taste of a green pod, but great citrusy flavor and decent heat. ( Don't ask me how the half of a 7pot pod went.)
I just did something I know I will regret. I just ate half of a green 7 Pot pod....................
Ten minutes later, the milk is finally soothing the burn.
That is the hottest pepper I have eaten, yea, I'll make sure to bring some along to Jungle Jim's.....................you guys...
Hey guys,
The garden looks great!!
It looks like I'll be able to bring along some ripe Scorpion and 7Pot pods!:)
Anyone want to try one????:hell:
Let me know................
I checked yesterday while watering, I now have several Trinidad Congo and Bhut Jolakia pods growing.:onfire:
I see a good crop on the horizon.............
Hey FiveStar,
I have over a dozen 7pots in the ground this season.
I hope to blend them with the scorpions, fatallis, naga morichs, bhut jolakias, naga jolakias and/or devils tongue that in the garden as well.:hell:
Update:
I am getting ready to start planting to the garden.
Yesterday, I noticed that the one Bhut Jolokia and several Tabago Seasoning, Trinidad Congo and OY Kho plants have started to to produce blooms!!!:onfire:
I hope it is a good season.....................
A co-worker knows that I like the peppers. Guess what?
He found a local nursery selling Bhut Jolakia plants, so he bought one for me!:onfire:
Now I have to go check out what else they have to add to my collection of 250+ plants in the greenhouse already.;)
Defcon 1 is great on everything, but try MK II with caution. Great flavor but it will sneak up and bite you.......
BTW, John @ Defcon, you will attend The Weekend of Fire again, right?
