I've been very pleased with how this second batch of starts has come up. I'll be transplanting into solo cups over the course of this week. Still probably 3-4 weeks away from being ready to move them outdoors.

I figured it was a watering issue. I'll try that if it becomes an issue again this year. last year I was completely clueless. This year, I'm just slightly clueless (mainly because I have THP for information)

What's the best way to avoid it? I'm about to start transplanting several plants into 5-7 gallon pots; the only issue I really had last year was the soil eventually becoming extremely compacted and cutting off growth. I've used the search function but haven't found much specifically dealing...

Have any pictures? How big are they/have they gotten their true leaves? That, and I don't know enough about Nebraska weather to give you a good answer. Here in Louisiana I'm moving plants outside right now, but its 78-90 degrees here now and nights in the upper 60s.

Most of the time mine pop off on their own. Other times a careful hand and some small tweezers or nail clippers will do the trick

I've tried them, didn't care for them too much. I have All Clad pots and pans, and my grandma's old cast iron. I got one of these as a gift, and I gave it away. Nice, but you can get just as good performance out of a $20 nonstick skillet.
