    No it is about 2 hours North of Lima. I have been to Nazca too and yeah its a desert there as well.

    Much to my delight I managed to score some of the large Red Rocoto peppers in the market. These nice red pods of heavenly delight makes my mouth water and burn all at the same time LOL

    This morning we took a stroll down to the local market near my In Laws home in Lima. The lady that works there likes to pose for me hahaha This is called Zapallo "Macre" which is a squash or pumpkin looking thing that is very common here. There are 2 types of these Zapallos that are grown here...

    Ever hear of a Caihua? If not you have now. I have never seen these except here in Peru. They cut the insides out and styff them with sausage, eggs, maters etc for making rellenos. I am gonna try to grow some next year The seeds

    Yeah those are really beautiful peppers. I saved a whole paper plate full of seeds for next year I would like to try the yellow rocotos. I am going to Peru next month so I hope to find some more interesting seeds to bring back
