I'd like to get my plants out earlier next season, and keep them out longer
at the end of the year.
Extend my growing season.
Anyone ever build any kind of temporary greenhouse or tent-like structure?
I do not want a permanent structure. I just want something for the beginning and end of the...
My grow list IS done. I have limited space so its not hard. :)
I'm doubling the number of plants, but I'm only adding 2 varieties.
Just ordered the new seeds I'll need
I expect you could throw on some ground beef and maybe some salsa.
I used the broiler. I expect if you had more chips or more ingredients you would want to bake it instead. 350 sounds about right for that...
started these from seeds in January and FINALLY my first fully ripe Naga Morich!
There!
Pepp3rFreak, you were right. Took exactly a week from the first sign till fully ripe.
My first Habs are starting to turn now too :-)
following what everyone in here was saying, I used my magic bullet last night to make chile powder from Thai Dragons.
It was beautiful. Worked perfectly and didnt make me sneeze or cough because its an airtight seal.
Cant imagine a better result.
Last night I made some dried Thai dragons into chile powder and the stuff is AWESOME!!
Its a little too fierce for my wife so I KNOW then when I make some with my Caribbean Reds and Naga's that I'm the only one thats gonna be using it :-)
The question is, what pepper makes a great flavorful...
I just bought a 700 watt food dehydrator that has an adjustable temp range of 95 - 160 degrees F.
Whats the best temp for small, thin walled peppers such as Habs, Naga's, Thai's etc?
I sprouted mine in January and put them outside in May. Just getting my first ripe pods now.
I'm a few hundred miles south of you.
Given the average time between flower and ripe pod (been about 6 weeks for me) you may only get one batch of pods before its too cold unless you can bring them...
I dunno. This mystery pepper looks like a Naga Morich to me. Especially the upper one. I have a couple Naga Morich plants and this looks just like those just when the pods reach full size but have not gotten real bumpy yet and they are still fairly light green.
You sure the one you think is a...
Interesting. So the ice doesn't damage them or make them soft once they thaw?
Whats the longest you have stored any in this fashion? Do they always come out nice just like when they went in?
Once you have a pod fully ripe, how long before it starts to go bad?
How long refrigerated, and how long on the plant?
Any answers would be most appreciated...
