For those of us in the Southwest or where it's hot!

Well, like I said, there was absolutely no criminal intent intended on my behalf. The box was in my shipping supplies, and just happened to fit nicely until I can buy the plywood. Every intent to ship something in the box. That's why I have the box. I've frankly never read that warning capcom...

For those of us in the Southwest or where it's hot!

As stated, I generally use plywood but happened to have this in my closet of boxes and it just happened to be a perfect fit. This was not meant to be malicious intent or otherwise. I don't regularly go into the post office unless I'm mailing something. I shall use other cardboard boxes or...

For those of us in the Southwest or where it's hot!

I usually use plywood for my non-bucket containers but found these free large priority mail boxes to fit 5 gallon buckets perfect for protection from the heat. It's over 100 here today and expected to get hotter real soon. Dave

Thanks man! Yeah, little small but I want to get him out there before our triple digit heat hits here. This is one of my favorite tasting peppers :-)

Ok, any ideas what this is?

Bought as a Moruga (original pod was red and bumpy and had a tail). These ones are lighter red, smooth, and glossy. They are pungent and hot!

What kind of wildlife do you have in your area?

I forgot about skunks and squirrels. Also, jays take all my Pequin peppers right off the plant. How in the H can they just swallow those little peppers? Dave Oh, that Turbota, that's cool. TrueNorthReptiles, when is the best time to put peppers out and when do you harvest them there. My wife...

What kind of wildlife do you have in your area?

As it pertains to your plants. The other night, I watched as a opossum walked through my garden and I suspect that is what's been digging near my in-ground plants. Our neighborhood has a wildlife disclosure of black bears, deer, rattlesnakes, and raccoons. In the 2.5 years we've been here, I've...

pests Aphids and honeydew all over my young red pepper plants !

Not necessarily. But yeah, HD doesn't sell lady bugs but your "mom and pop" garden center should. Armstrong Garden center here in CA has live lady bugs in a 1500 count container for $9. Last time I saw aphids on my plants, I sprinkled about 200 per plant. Killed every aphid on them. Dave

    Peach Trinidad Scorpion & Fatalii

Fatali is a very prolific plant. This is mine from last season. About 500 pods from this one plant. I cut it back so I don'texpect that many this season. As for Scorpion, I'm just growing the Moruga.

At this stage, let them get larger before adding any more nutes. Keep us posted! Dave
