    first you need to acclimate them , you need to put them outside 1st day for maybe half hour second day 1 hour  third day 2 hours and then increase the time for a week or so, and they will be ready. They wilt cause they are not used to sun. :)

    More efficient way would be foliar spraying the plant, take in mind that calcium is not mobile nutrient so deformed leaves won't be able to 'fix' themselves, bur rather it would only affect new growth.     Yeah could be slugs I wouldn't be worried about them unless they go on rampage and start eating lots of leaf tissue, Then you could use some protection methods, you are able find lots of tutorials and people explaining how to set up slug traps and way to get rid of them :)

    That is why growing things is exciting, you never know whats gonna happen because not all depends on us. Happened to me as 4 years ago when i had month of rain. Poor guys still managed to recover and produced some really nice peppers. :) Hope it get sunny soon and don't worry ! Cheers :)))
