Just wanted to take a second and read through my old post once more. You know, since you quoted it :) My Jobito plant really did produce pods with a taste that made me think of grass. Later, during the season the flavour was a lot more like a heatless hab - which was a huge improvement IMO...

The heat doesn't seem to do Rocotos much good - if they dont experience cooler temps at night for example. This season might just have been perfect for outdoor Rocoto growing? :P Im savning seeds from it so it's no problem sharing them with others

Just stopping by for a final update of this season in my newbie glog. You will easily tell why from the photo below.. It's only a fraction of the aphids I have to deal with at the moment. My PDN was looking good towards the end of the season, and I even got a couple of ripe pods on it :-)...

D'oh...! XD Haven't been been active lately. Violet pods turning White must be the coolest thing ever in Pepper history!
