flavor Which 5k-25k Scoville peppers do you like the taste of most?

I second that. It is my favorite pepper in the milder stages for anything really. Its amazing in salads when cut into tiny pieces. You can make fantastic Hot sauce with it too! The one I usually make has become very popular among friends. And it is so easy to grow even under suboptimal conditions

    Worst Pepper

One of the worst I've had is the Aji Jobito. It was hyped up to be a delicious Pepper with no heat and rightly so - no heat at all. But the taste was so bitter and grassy that I couldn't believe it was actually a Pepper. Even though the plant is definitely a Capsicum. I might have received a...

    chinense Albino Apocalypse Scorpion?

It is mold. Im using coco coir as substrate in the early stages - but this year the small pots are placed on a mat inside a zink tray. The combination of Hard water, coco coir and the tray is a great explanation for why the plants couldnt make it. Its my first time going about it that way...

Need some help to ID my first Hot pepper

It could be. The shape looks fairly similar to regulars habs. This one tasted different from other storebought red habs though. Im currently waiting for some of the last seeds to germinate.. Hopefully they will!

    chinense Albino Apocalypse Scorpion?

This is the answer to problems with a couple of mine this year. They were sown early but after a couple of months I realized that they just dont grow anymore. First true leafs are White and then nothing happens. I have already dumped some of them and here are the remaining ones.. Really sad...

    seeds Germination with peat pellets

Wow I didnt know about that. Makes little sense for me when the product fits perfectly in with growing in Scandinavia. I know that even mr Fatalii himself had a mention of Växer on his website at one point. Oh Well.. I will let you know if my wife and I decide to go to Ikea again

    seeds Germination with peat pellets

For 2 years I was primarily using coco pellets for seed germination. It seems a better option than peat from my experience. Paper towel method works great and is a lot cheaper though. My favorite is the Ikea system called Växer or something along those lines. Relatively cheap product, 50 open...

    hot-sauce Cholula Hot Sauce Garlic

I would rate it at about a 6/10. Way too much vinegar for my taste. But it definitely works fantastic in dishes that already contains garlic. Then the score would land at about the smae level as you gave it. I usually buy Cholulas in "Normal" stores in Denmark. I find that they generally have...

Need some help to ID my first Hot pepper

Photo was taken at least 3 years ago. The peppers were presented to me as Pakistani or Indian of origin. Taste reminds me of exotic fruits and so deliciously fruity that I thought the heat would be no problem if only I could taste it again.. Its primarily the red one in the center that Im...
