I have 12 indoor plants. All are about 3-4 months old and at least 1' and some change tall. I have a 400W HPS hanging about a foot over the canopy level. All are aerated as well with 70L/min split between them evenly through a 12 port manifold. For the last 3 months they have been in Sensi Grow...
What are your habits for full reservoir changes vs. just topping off with a pH controlled nute (i.e. Sensi Grow A+B Perfect pH) in my case? I worry about keeping the right pH and ppm by just topping off. For reference I am using one small soup cup stacked inside a large soup cup...
The guy I follow a lot of advice from is Khang Starr and in one video he prunes the plant down to basically five leaves and it bursting with leaves like two weeks later. You'll be fine.
I agree, most of my leaves look wrinkly until they grow out fully. I don't see any curling which is usually a bigger sign of some sort of cal/mag deficiency or over watering.
Everything I have read so far has led me to believe aquaponics is more of a cool way to keep your aquarium running with the added benefit of having the peppers do okay rather than the other way around. Most accounts I see seem to have issues with fruiting and yield using aquaponics.
Not idiotic at all. I don't know much about the FDA and interstate shipping but something you might look into for getting started is selling dehydrated peppers via Cottage Food Laws. We have one in TX that basically says as long as you have a food handler's permit, only sell from your house or...
New grower here. I received a mystery plant from the local B&M about a month ago and have had it under a 125W CFL in a 5 gallon bubble system with about 20 mL each of Sensi grow perfect pH A+B in 4.5 gallons of Houston tap water. I have noticed a bit of what appears to be nute burn. Can anyone...
Sorry, I edited to show I meant T5. I didn't have enough space under my 125W CFL setup and realized my kitchen counter lights were T5 so I put the rest of my seedlings on top of a pile of books really close to the light. What would the rubber band and wrap have done? Helped block out heat?
A few of the cotyledons on some of my tabasco seedlings have this issue. I would say only about 3/25 don't look healthy due to whatever this is. Any idea what it could be? Over watering? Too close to the light? I had them in potting soil in solo cups about 4" from a 13W T5 @ 4000K...
