    Could Somebody Take a Look?

stop watering so much -only water when they wilt.  My guess is you will be able to go ~10-14 days in between watering.  Hell with all the rain we have had lately I havent actually "watered" my gardens yet and ive been in the ground since March 1.   Let everything dry out.   Stop giving nutes so...

    soil "The Perfect Soil"

my uncles mother in law amends her 2-3 acre "garden" in Idaho every year with cow shit.  Nothing else.  I have seen pictures of her garden and its impressive.  She says she uses A LOT of it and the farmers around her will deliver for free.

Too Late to Start Super Hots?

IMO super hots HAVE to be over wintered and helped along for several years.  I am into my second year on my Reapers and they are just now on their 2nd batch of peppers which are actually showing to be true reapers vs. the first peppers which, while still crazy hot, did not show much like a...

    President Chili Head

Im not a HUGE Gary Johnson fan as much as I was a Bob Barr fan in 2008.  I voted for Bob Barr in 08 and was told I "wasted" my vote and should have voted McCain.  Sorry the R's bungled that choice in trying to get a 120 year old man elected based on his status as a "war hero" except to those...

nutrients BLS, nute deficiency or simply over watered???

Honestly the plants look WAY better just 3 days later after removing all of the leaves that were yellow and nasty looking and working the Dr. Earth into the soil(I do understand it takes a while to work).  Most just fell right off when I touched them which means they werent going to stay on much...

nutrients BLS, nute deficiency or simply over watered???

I went and bought the Dr. Earth tomato fertilizer and broke up the top 2-3" of soil and mixed around the recommended dose and gave it just a little water to help it set or activate or whatever.  The rain tonight should help it out too.

nutrients BLS, nute deficiency or simply over watered???

yea I read that.   I think I will still put some ferts down today, maybe just dry granules and let the rain water them in.   Looking at the Dr. Earth Tomato fertz which say you just mix them into the top 2-3" of the dirt and then water them in.

nutrients BLS, nute deficiency or simply over watered???

tds?  nope.  No clue what that is.   I was thinking of watering in some nute's due to as you said, the rain washes everything out of the soil, BUT I know the soil is still pretty wet from all the rain so I was really trying to let it dry out.   The top 3-4 inches is dry, but then it gets damp...

nutrients BLS, nute deficiency or simply over watered???

We have had in the past 2-3 weeks here in Dallas A LOT of rain.  Last rain was Friday I think it was.  My raised beds drain very well, but the soil does retain water.  I was thinking that all this was was over watered plants, leaves turning yellow and dropping, but nothing else on the plant...

    Newbie, papery yellow leaves.

buy epsom salts at the drug store.  It will be close to where the foot products are.

    Newbie, papery yellow leaves.

Let em dry out till they wilt, then water.   Yellow leaves can be a result of over watering.   Also magnesium deficiency(epsom salts will help fix this).   Sun burn, maybe, but doesnt sound likely in your scenario.   If yellow leaves get bad enough the plant will drop them.   Ive tried all the...

    Any Mechanics on the THP?

Get an OBD scanner that can show you fuel levels.   If you fill up and it shows 90%+(they NEVER show 100%) than the in tank sender is working and its down stream of that.   If you fill up and it still shows 10%(or something way less than 90% that OBVIOUSLY cant be correct) than IMO points to the...

    2016 plant out dates

I was fully planted out around March 3rd.  Planted some stuff on the 1st and the rest on the 3rd.  Only had one night where we got frost, but I got everything covered up best I could and only got a little damage on some leaf's, but everything is coming along nicely.  Reapers are throwing another...

fertilizer New guy...have I over fertilized? What have I done?!?!

dont do shit.   Leave them be for a bit.   If you start pouring "insert random thing" into the soil to "fix" whats wrong, you will most likely make them worse(including pouring tons of water into the soil).     It has taken a lot for me to get to the point of saying "hmm, lets let things settle...

Looks like my Carolina Reapers will have Tails!

I dont think I will ever eat a reaper whole.  Ive eaten 1/4 of one and I had a solid 15 minutes of hard burn followed by at least 15-20 minutes of residual after I hit the milk.    Im not suggesting eating a whole one.   I guess I took from the post that he wasnt thinking of even trying one...

    nutrients Calcium deficient or over-nuted?

I wouldnt do anything personally.   You start jacking with things and pouring who knows what in them to try to "fix" something and you will inevitably make it worse.   Let em dry out for a week or two and re-asses.

Looks like my Carolina Reapers will have Tails!

but you DO eat it im sure.   I guess I wont grow something I wont eat.  I grow 4 kinds of tomato's, but not a single slicing tomato, much to my family's frustration, because I dont like tomato on a burger or sandwich.

Looks like my Carolina Reapers will have Tails!

So you are growing reapers, but wont eat one?  Why grow them?   I admit I wont eat full peppers, but I will and have eaten 1/4 of a reaper.
