Whoa man great updates. Things are moving too fast around here these days. Great looking habs. I am working on getting some of those big suns isolated for you... it's been a little picky about setting pods. There's still time though. If not I'll send you some OP.
Apparently my post never went through. This all looks really wonderful JJJ, especially the sauce. I need to get off my butt and get that done... I know they say the sauces from frozen are as good as the fresh, but I'm not so sure.
Keep up the great work bud!
Storm damage is the pits, but it looks like the plants will bounce back with a vengeance. Still plenty of months to go...
The peaches really do have a great taste... Maybe they're destined for GA...
If initial whiffs are any indication, the ferment process really brings the flavors to life. I bet your sauces are going to be great!
That would explain why I'm liking the Fruts lol!
MoA sauce, tomatoes, and a great looking crop of fataliis coming up! I need to swing by here more often! You really got this under control man, but I bet you're in the garden for hours. Nothing wrong with that. Keep the pics coming!
Nice SFRB! Looks like you got some tasting to do...
The fruts are really growing on me this year (chintexle is a frut right?). I was lukewarm on tobascos last year... the taste is very sharp, and needs to be mellowed a bit. But I am thinking dried or powdered they'd be quiet tasty. How do you...
Schedule is filling up. Got a bunch of deadlines this Fall.
The plants are huge now, but they're slowing down a bit. I've noticed that the bhuts tend to stress themselves out in a pulse, yellowing new growth while the pods hit max size and then greening up again.
Sure was tasty either way...
Excellent bhut-age Rick! I've switched to daily pulls now too as I can. I've been leaving the ripes on the plant too long and was getting torn up by water damage and insects. Leaffooted bugs are bad down here right now. I am hoping most my plants got one more big pulse in 'em.
Yeah man you name the time! I want to come up there before August gets done too. They're asking me for some sauce down at the farm... I am bringing them my first batch of mango-bhut and I may crack open my first ferment and see how it turned out.
Saveur has a pretty basic looking sauce recipe...
