    Let's talk about isolation.

Bad news on the A and B test.  Dog knocked the plant off the deck and some of the plant broke off, which including that branch.  I'll have to try that theory again on another.

    Let's talk about isolation.

They're self pollinating, so a little wind or a shake or two is all they need.  When it's ready to accept pollen, the stamens open up and spread out a bit.  Once pollination has taken place, the petals  kind of droop if you will, then fall off.  The stigma will often stick around for a few days...

    Let's talk about isolation.

I have when taking the pictures(light flicks on the flower).  I haven't the others though.  I'll know if it helps on the reapers for sure as I've glued quite a bit now on a couple of them.  Haven't touched the one plant since and haven't even checked it.

    Let's talk about isolation.

Thank you very much.  Yes, and this boy of mine is fantastic at hiding things.  In fact, I still haven't found one lol.    If you have any suggestions or something you would like for me to try while doing this please let me know and I will try to give it a shot.  I want this to work badly.   Any...

    Let's talk about isolation.

Thank you.  I gave it a few flicks to see if it would fly off or not and it didn't so my fingers are crossed.  It seems very stout so I am hoping that's a great sign.  In the meantime I am bringing in all of my potted plants today and gluing a bunch of just about ready to open flowers.  I am...

    Let's talk about isolation.

I might pick some of those up as a bag up.  Sure would beat using the little organza bags.       Here's the Aji cross as it is today.    Success? I didn't check on any of the others yet

    Refrigerating Hot Sauce?

Mine go in the fridge, regardless of what some one suggests, but only because I am weird like that.  I've read it's completely safe, so long as it was made up right.

    Buckeye Butchlah

It is, but it's much different than this.  There are many peppers who share the same parents but are world's apart.  Also, this was crossed a while before the serpent.  I hve one in the mail now on its way to Nigel.

Browning's first glog, 2014. Work in progress

Things are still going slowly, I've had some things ripen up but for the most part I still have some waiting to do.      Here's some random flowers from my plants.  I'll post some pods once I get a reply or two :)             My garden helper, or destroyer depending on his mood lol    ...

    the packet said ghost peppers

Your odds of correctly identified those are super slim.  If you like them, your best bet would be to mark them "unknown" and keep growing them out.  If those all came from the same seeds it looks to be some ones crossed up variety.

    Let's talk about isolation.

Me either.  I am to go out just before dark and snap another of the aji cross, and I'll do the same twice a day until it falls or pods up.   That's not at all what I wanted to hear.  :)
