hobbies How many people are gamers?

I wouldn't call myself a gamer but I enjoy playing the 360 every now and then.  I usually plays form a few days then don't touch it again for like a month or so.  That said, I'm still playing Skyrim  :)

I'm tired of searching for, and picking off hornworms.

Although the chickens love the little bastards, they refuse to gather them up themselves.  I will continue picking them off as I see them, but what can I put out that isn't harsh on nature to help rid them from my garden?   I have neem oil and DE.  How effective are eachof these products when it...

Any lawn and yard fanatics out there? Let me see...

I like striping but I don't put much effort in the lawn.  The holes and bumps in the yard make it a challenge.  Tons of weeds here since this was once a horse field.  Tons of moles making holes every where and raising the ground, dogs making holes, chickens wrecking the yard, etc lol.   You...

hybrid Storing pollen for ease of making crosses?

Thank you for the link.  I never even thought about fridge first before freezing, or doing multiple separate samplesto avoid destroying the whole supply.  Thinking of that, I wonder how well pill gelcaps would work for storing individual supplies of pollen?  Buy cheap pills, empty them out...

hybrid Storing pollen for ease of making crosses?

Have any of you tried to store pepper pollen? I have just begun reading up on it and while there isn't much pollen to be had from each flower, the amount of pollen a flower needs to pollinate itself is small, and most gioes to waste.   What got me wondering is how much easier this would be for...

Browning's first glog, 2014. Work in progress

Ok, here we are, half a year laterand I have been MIA from this thread, and the forum as well.    I started hundreds of plants in the beginning of the year.  All was going great, except Spring seemed to not want to visit here in Ohio.  Browsing craigslist like I usually do every other day or so...

in-ground Transplanted to the ground but seem to have stopped growing?

I started one then never updated it.  Most of the plants I started when I made it got destroyed by chickens.  That's also why I took a hiatus from here, I had nothing top post lol

in-ground Transplanted to the ground but seem to have stopped growing?

about 3 weeks ago but I have had some in containers outside for longer.  In fact, mostly allof them have been placed around the deck since after hardening off.  I still have some to go in the ground.  Tomatoes planted at the same time, and they are triple in size than they were when...

in-ground Transplanted to the ground but seem to have stopped growing?

Have any of you had this happen.  On some of the facebook pepper groups it seems to be a common occurrence.  Seed sowed inside, plants look great, hardened off fine, then when you put in the ground or container it's like they say "welp, I think I'll dick off now and just do nothing."   I have...
