T12s and T8s both have the same cap size (G13) so will fit the same fixture.
T5HO are far by the most efficient currently producing double the output of a T8.
The T# relates to the thickness of the tube in 8ths of an inch. Hence T5 is 5/8 - T8 is 8/8 - T12 is 12/8

If you plan to unhook it when not in use you need to put valves on it to keep water inside. Otherwise you can damage the filter. The more stages the more expensive. Get one with a DI filter to get pretty much 0 TDS

Stealing electricity is easy but dangerous. You basically unhook the incoming live and neutral before the meter but you have no way of isolating them so it needs to be done live. That may sound dangerous for 110v or 120v (us) but in Europe we use 230!
What they need to look out for is periodic...

In this country its legal to own cannabis seeds but as soon as you plant them your breaking the law. Likewise you can sell the stuff to grow canna but your not allowed to condone using it for that purpose. Your right about the carbon filters although tomatoes do smell a bit.

Its not too much of a problem. I have a sunny south facing window sill and they will be moved there when they outgrow that space. The amount of light during the days is getting longer and by the end of feb they should be happy on there.

Ha.
Cheers for the good comments. They may have to be moved out in a few weeks if they don't stop growing Mike. Then will be their time to 'come out'.
Growth has been amazing over the last 4 weeks. Look at post #8! :)
One on the right is in a 3" rockwool cube. The one on the left is in a 1" cube surrounded by hydroton clay. The white stuff is black/ white plastic sheeting to stop the algae growth on the cubes.
