I soak mine in rainwater first (ph tends to be 5.5 - 5.8) and then water with a weak nute solution. No ph adjusting needed with rain water. Chris

Cheers Mike, The plan is to gain extra plant space that is protected from wind and rain. Plants wont go out till May/ June time until September/ October. The plastic is only going to span across the top and the fence and wall will protect the rear and the front will be open. What are the uses...

Somebody on another forum just buries their heads again and gently compacts the soil. Next time they stand up the cases come off. I use tweezers with 95% success. Just pinch the edges of the seed rather than the flat sizes.
