same here. Never ate one of them before. Tried sprouting some last season but it didn't work out.   Anyway, harvested my unknown today so that I could devote more patio-space to my knowns. This is the one that had 50/50 phenotype results.  

it is my understanding that putting pods in "airtight/confined" areas will make them ripen &/or spoil quicker if I'm not mistaken. Isn't this why green bananas are placed into paper lunch bags to make them ripen quicker? Someone can correct me if I'm mistaken.

One of my Brain Strains got some brown splotches on it that seems to systematically killing it. I may be able to get a ripe pod off of it before it migrates down the plant. Thats nature I guess. That type of thing sucks especvially after catering to every need of the plant for months, but oh...
