Thanks for the tips! I will see what I can do about getting ladybugs, if not I will use insecticidal soap.

These are my furry friends:   Sadie, a 6 year old Border Collie:     Raiden, a 3 year old Boxer:     Ella, our newest addition that we adopted 2 weeks ago from a shelter (she is 10 weeks old):  

Peaking online, it looks like most places that sell ladybugs around here are done for the year. I might just have to send my kids outside ladybug hunting before it gets cold out again. In the meantime, I brought the plant in and washed off a good chunk of them. I don't see any on the leaves now...

You guys are right, flipped over a leaf and total aphid infestation..  :censored:

I noticed these little white things on some of the leaves of my habanero plant. They fall off easily and are mainly on the inner leaves and don't seem to be moving (but look like they maybe have legs). Any idea what it is or if its a problem?  

I'm in Calgary and was frantically trying to bring what I could inside last week as it was blizzarding on me. Almost everything that didn't make it inside is toast. It is warmer now this week, but we will see how long that lasts.

I decided that it was definitely a weed that snuck it's way into my indoor pot so have pulled it out. Thanks for the help guys!

Thanks guys! I will let it grow for now and see what happens. I have a fatalii popping up next to it that actually looks like a pepper seedling so at least I will have one that is hopefully the right thing.

Definitely looked like pepper seeds that I planted, unless something else somehow got mixed in the soil.   Assuming it is a fatalii, can I expect it to normalize a bit as it grows?

This is supposed to be a yellow fatalii seedling:   The leaves look oddly round to me and there are 3 of them.   This is what all of my other pepper seedlings have looked like with their first set of leaves:   Is this unlikely to even be a pepper or is it just a tad...deformed?

I've had this plant for about 5 years now and originally bought the seeds from a craft store (not your most reputable place  ;) ). It was labelled cayenne, but looks different than most of the cayenne pictures that I have seen. They grow to be about 2-3" long, most straighter than this photo but...
