Those looks like Early Habs, typically the ones i see at the beginning of the year or when my habs are in an inside grow. They still taste great and pack a punch! They just happen to be mini!
They do both look very "Habish" But its impossible to tell what they are going to be before changing color. Be patient, i'd bet they'll start to change in the next couple weeks. But honestly if you didnt get the seeds from a reputable dealer theres a good chance you just received a hodge podge...
I'd either guess CPR, or just straight Chocolate Reapers. Both have had seeds floating around this season. Either way those peppers look mean man! Enjoy!
Careful with those beetles you see on the leaves there. I had the same beetles that were destroying my Mustard Habs, had to spray an Organic Insecticide on them. They were burrowing into my habs, every single one of them making them inedible. Better get rid of them before you get pods. (They...
I have these Aji Sugar Rush peppers that im wondering how long until they typically change color. They've been a pale green for over a month now. I've had Aji Limon peppers that have grown and changed color in the time these have been grown and chilling on the plant. Im wondering if they may be...
I have two pepper plants where the tags washed away sometime in the spring, Not 100% sure what they are. My guess for the first pepper is a Bhutlah. It was planted near my CPR and i believe it was a Bhutlah that i planted there around that time. The second i believe is a 7 Pot of some sort, my...
Got my order from Juanitos on friday, They all came in perfect condition and i've been hardening them off the last couple of days. The Manzano Plant seems to be doing the best so far!
Same thing happened with my Peter Peppers, they were the only two plants out of fifty that were curling. I agree with juanitos. When the leaves of my peter peppers were curling bad i didnt water the plants until the leaves started to wilt slightly, then watered them and wallaaa. I found that my...
Alright sounds good. I've got a little plot all set for them once they're hardened off. You guys have awesome prices on plants btw, Can't beat it anywhere.
Possible cross. But the shape isnt right for a bhutlah. And the pod is too smooth for a reaper. (although i have seen the rare smooth reaper, not to be confused with a smooth criminal)
Hey i recently placed an order at juanitoes for some pepper plants. Does anyone know if the plants will need to be hardened or were they started in natural sunlight?
Its funny, my smaller plants are absolutely loving the sun, my bigger plants are getting sunburnt, and my two mature hab plants that were transferred from last season are booming in the sunlight.
I thought i had hardened by peppers enough before transplanting them outside but a couple of my larger plants are getting sunburn. I dont have a great way of putting them in shade other than completely covering them with a sheet or something. So my question is. Typically if a plant is getting...
Their Very hot smoke roasted is probably my favorite out of all their sauces. Its warm but not overwhelmingly hot. (Maybe i have a high tolerance idk) But the flavor is amazing, especially on Chicken Tenders.
Got my Xmas contest box from "The Hot Pepper" today. Although one thing was broken when i got it, the rest of the box was chock full of sauces, spices, and dips. Absolutely awesome! Thanks Again. Will post a pic when i get done with work.
I actually just put a little space heater down there with a small fan to circulate the warm air. Im going to be getting a bigger heater for the entire basement soon enough but for now this will work for my peppers.
